For some time now, nubia has been in the business of producing gaming smartphones with its Red Magic lineup, but now the company is changing its route with a mid-range series tagged nubia Play. The first phone to come out from this series is called ZTE nubia Play 5G. The smartphone was just announced in China and it comes with a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with the same refresh rate as the flagship ZTE nubia Red Magic 5G
ZTE nubia Play 5G Features
The ZTE nubia Play 5G display features a 240Hz tocuh sampling rate, a built-in fingerprint scanner and a clear cutout-free design with classic top and bottom bezels. At the back, you will find a 48MP main Sony IMX582 shooter alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro shooter, and another 2MP depth sensor. At the front, you will find a 12MPselfie camera.
The right-hand side of the phone features the two capacitive shoulder buttons for enhanced gaming utility.
Under the hood of the ZTE nubia Play 5G, we have the Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. It has a massive 5000mAh battery which supports 30W fast wired fast charging. On the software side, the nubia Play 5G runs on nubia UI 8.0 on top of Android 10.

The ZTE nubia Play 5G release date and official sales in China will start from April 24, 2020.

ZTE nubia Play 5G Price in China and India with the different storage options are as follows; 6/128GB model is CNY 2,400 ($340/INR26,030), 8/128GB is CNY 2,700 ($380/INR 29,380) and a top of the line 8/256GB variant price is CNY 3,000 ($425/INR 32,645). The phone will be available in Black, Blue, and White colours, and it is already up for pre-order in China.
