The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra announcement came as a surprise, and the additional good news is that it will be sold in the United States and Canada too. Though there is no news concerning the price and release date, recent flagships launched by ZTE were not available in the North American market. The Axon 30 Ultra will also find its way to the European markets too, as other Axons have in the past.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Specification
The highlight spec of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is the triple 64MP camera it came with. The camera is made up of a 64MP main IMX686 sensor, another 64MP module with a slightly longer lens, and a third 64MP ultra wide-angle shooter. The main camera can record video at up to 8k 30 fps. There is a fourth camera on the rear – a 5x periscope and an 8MP sensor behind it.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The base memory configuration of the phone has 6GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 256GB storage (UFS 3.1), but you can upgrade to 12GB RAM if you want to. The top model comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage.
The Axon 30 Ultra comes with a 4600mAh battery and supports 66W charging. It does not have wireless charging support. The phone also has 5G connectivity as well as Wi-Fi and fully featured NFC. It runs on MyOS 11 (based on Android 11).
Axon 30 Ultra Pre-order Date in China
Pre-orders of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra in China will commence from Monday, April 19, 2021. Ir will be coming soon to other markets in the world after this. It will be available in three main colors – white, black, and mint, plus a special tan vegan leather that will be coming soon.
Axon 30 Ultra Price in China
Though we do not know the prices for other Western markets, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra price in China starts at CNY4,700 for the base memory configuration and CNY5,000 for the one with an extra 4GB RAM. The highest model will cost CNY6,666.
