Xiaomi has released two new smartphones – the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. Both phones are dubbed the “flagship killer 2.0”. Some of their specs include 48MP cameras, OLED panels with UD fingerprint scanners, plus elevating cameras. Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Features
The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has a 6.30 inches screen in diagonal, which comes with full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 tall ratio. It has a bezel-less display and that is why the front facing camera is been housed in a pop-up mechanism from the top side. The Snapdragon 855 chipset it came with has already been teased before now. The REdmi K20 Pro arrives with 6GB or 8GB RAM and an internal storage of between 64GB and 256GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has three camera setup on its back – a 48MP main camera, with Sony IMX586 sensor, 13MP secondary shooter with an ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto unit. The cameras brings 960fps slow-mo video recording. The elevating selfie camera of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro has a 20 MP sensor and of course it has AI capabilities.
Just like most flagships, the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro comes with 4000mAh battery capacity, which also have fast charging capabilities – the 27W standard, which have already seen in the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and Xiaomi Mi 9. There is a claim that the battery can charge from 0 to 58% in just 30 minutes and 100% in just 74 minutes.
Both Redmi K20 phones will have the Game Turbo 2.0 that allocates resources for gaming. To add to it, the mode implements a smart switch from Wi-Fi to 4G networks for smooth connectivity and zero lag.
The Xiaomi Redmi K20 with its Snapdragon 730 chipset, is the second smartphone in the market with the 8nm process chip from Qualcomm. Although it has the same display and camera setup, the 48 MP main shooter is actually with the Sony IMX582 sensor. The battery has the same capacity, but charges at 18W rates.
Arriving in either Red or Blue colours, the price of the Redmi K20 is CNY1,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and CNY2,099 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro will come in four versions for the regular phone and a fifth option, dubbed Avengers Edition, coming with some goodies in the retail box.
