Poco has unveiled the long-awaited mid range smartpphone – say hello to the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. As you can see, the official name of the phone has a near-field communication in its name but it has other cool specs that are noteworthy. Read on to see them.
Poco X3 NFC Features
The Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC comes with the Snapdragon 732G chipset by Qualcomm, which makes it the first in the world with that platform. The company claims it is the most powerful Snapdragon 700 series 4G processor you can find in the world today.
The front panel of the Poco X3 NFC is a massive 6.67-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 screen ratio. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth gaming, and the selfie camera is hidden behind an unobtrusive punch hole in the top center.
The front-facing camera is a 20MP f/2.2 with some pixel binning technology for better selfies in daylight.
The cameras on the back are the true X factor of this mid-ranger. The Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC has a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor behind the f/1.73” aperture and 6P lens. There is also a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle cam with 119-degree FoV.
The other two cameras are 2MP f/2.4 – one for close-up shots, the other is a depth sensor to assist the portrait photos. Poco is bringing some AI features like Skyscaping 3.0, the obligatory Night Mode, ShootSteady video to artificially stabilize any clip.
Another exciting feature of the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC is its massive 5160mAh battery it comes with. The battery has support for 33W fast charging, and it ships with the proper 33W charger in the box. There is a USB-C port on the bottom and a 3.5 mm audio jack next to it.
Apart from the obvious NFC from the name, other connectivity options also include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a dual-SIM tray. The second slot is hybrid to accommodate a micro SD card with up to 256 gigs of storage. The phone is IP53 compliant for water and dust splashes, has a Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and a “polycarbonate” (read plastic) panel on the back.
The Poco X3 NFC has with LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus – that includes a copper heat pipe and a graphite sheet for effective internal cooling and heat dissipation. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as a power key.
