Xiaomi smartphones are not really popular in Bangladesh, this is because of the absence of official stores in the country. To boost its popularity, the phone manufacturer is now officially entering Bangladesh. Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi’s Vice President and Managing Director in India recently announced that the Chinese company is officially setting foot in Bangladesh with the sales of 3 phones, namely Redmi S2-9185.php, Redmi 5, and Redmi Note 5.
The three phones will be available for purchase in Bangladesh through 463 Mi authorized offline stores, while online will be taken care of Daraz Bangladesh.
Xiaomi Redmi S2 and Redmi 5 Price in Bangladesh
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 price in Bangladesh is BDT14,999 (approximately $178) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage version, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage version cost BDT17,999 ($213). The price of the Redmi 5 in Bangladesh is expected to be lower, as it will be around BDT13,990 ($165). Sales of both phones in Bangladesh commences from July 26, 2018 at 2pm local time.
