After several leaks, and teasers, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was finally announced yesterday. The new phone came with a magnetic slider for selfie camera, flagship internals, and four cameras – having two on each side. These are some of its highlights, read on as you see the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 full specification, price and date of availability.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Features
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 comes with a 6.4 AMOLED screen, and the manufacturer claims a massive 93.4% screen-to-body ratio and Full HD+ resolution. The rear part of the Mi Mix 3 is mounted in a magnetic slider, which reveals a 24MP + 2MP front camera combo when slid out. The main sensor here is the Sony IMX576, which the company claims can achieve 1.8µm pixel size by 4-pixel binning in low-light environments. Its resolution is effectively reduced to 6MP in those conditions though.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3brings a new Night Mode that lets you take hand-held long exposure shots, similar to what Huawei introduced earlier this year. Xiaomi even featured side-by-side comparisons of the Mi Mix 3 and P20 Pro Night mode shots, suggesting that its phone easily outperforms its rival.
On the inside of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, you will find a Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB, 8GB, or 10GB or RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage. all depending on the memory option you decide to buy. There is no microSD slot for memory expansion though, which means you are left with the in-built memory option alone. You are entitled to fast wired charging through the USB-C port, as well as decent 10W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also have a 5G version, although it will be available in the first quarter of 2019. The company did made it known that it will be available in Europe, but has not mentioned any other markets yet.
