Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro Specification, Price and Release Date

The Black Shark 2 was released in the month of March this year, and it goes down to be one of the best gaming smartphones you could buy in the market. But now, the brand is coming out with a revised version called the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro. The new phone is just a minor upgrade over its predecessor, and it will offer the latest Snapdragon 855+ and UFS-3.0 storage together with a slightly refined design with improved grip, and two additional RGB lights on the back.

At the front of the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro you will find an identical 6.39 inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and stereo speakers. Black Shark claims it managed to reduce touch latency down to 34.7ms compared to the 43.5ms of its predecessor. This alone will result to a fast gaming experience with less visible lag. The Black Shark 2 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset paired with a 12GB RAM and options of 128GB or 256GB storage which now supports the faster UFS 3.0 standard.

Looking at the camera department, the Black Shark 2 Pro sports a double shooter combo with a 48MP f/1.75 main sensor and a 12MP f/2.2 secondary helper. The selfie camera is 20MP with an f/2.0 aperture. The battery capacity remains 4000mAH and with 27Wfast-charging support. On the software end, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro runs a near stock version of Android 9 Pie.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro will be released in China on August 2, 2019, and it will be available in Silver, Black, Orange, Blue, and Purple colours. Pre-orders are already ongoing with following prices:
