Sony recently launched three new Xperia phones at the CES 2018 held in Las Vegas. They are two mid-range handsets. the Sony Xperia XA2 and the Xperia XA2 Ultra, and an entry level phone known as Xperia L2, which ushers a ne design language and focus on endurance. In this post you will get to see the Sony Xperia XA2 full specifications, features, price and release date, while subsequent posts will contain same details of the Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2.
Sony Xperia XA2 Features
The Sony Xperia XA2 came with a Snapdragon 630 chipset, which replaces the MediaTek Helio P20 chipset of the last year’s model, Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Specifications, Price With Pros and Cons. It also has a 3300mAh battery (unlike the 2700mAh battery of the XA1) with a quick charge 3.0 feature, which makes it easier or your phone to charge rapidly when it eventually runs out to zero percent.
The Sony Xperia XA2 also have what is more than an extra battery capacity, as it has also gotten a larger 5.2 inch FullHD display, which replaces the 5 inch 720p of the XA1. It has a 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via the use of a microSD card slot. The one downside about the Sony Xperia XA2 is that it came with a hybrid SIM slot, which means you have to forfeit one SIM of yours if you are planning to expand the memory with a microSD card.
When you compare the design of the new Xperias to that of last year, you will observe some notable difference. For example the main camera has been moved from the left corner to the central axis of the back, in line with the fingerprint sensor. For sure, the new Xperias now come with a rear-mounted always on finger print sensor, which will finally work in the US as well. The circular OmniBalance power button retired with the Z5 generation has made a great comeback.
Looking at the camera department, the Sony Xperia XA2 came with a 23MP rear camera and an 8MP ultra wide fixed-focus camera at the front, which captures all your friends when you try to take a groupie. The Xperia XA2 came with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box, with Sony’s minimal customizations on top.
