The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has been made official, and the new phone for now, is actually the best among Samsung’s smartphone lineup. When you take a look at it for the first time, the device appears like an update of the Galaxy Note 8, but when you go deep you will discover there are lots of meaningful improvements. To give you a better information of what I am talking about, read on and see the Samsung Galaxy Note9 full specifications and features as well as its price.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 retained most of the features of the Note8, but it came with a bigger 6.4 inch screen (lacks notch) and 20% bugger 4000mAh Battery.
The display of the Galaxy Note9 is the biggest flagship screen Samsung has ever placed on a phone. It is 0.1 inch bigger than that of its predecessor, and it has the same 1440 x 2960 pixel resolution, which result in a meager deduction of 5ppi. The SUPER AMOLED unit is HDR10 compliant and supports Always On Display.
The finger print scanner of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is been placed at its rear, and it is moved to a more sensible center position under the dual camera module.
The camera department of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a copy of the Galaxy S9 Plus system, as it came with a 12MP dual-aperture f/1.5 – 2.4 wide and 12MP f/2.4 telephoto cameras. Both cameras are optically stabilized and polished with Samsung’s new intelligent Camera, which detects scenes, optimize colours and contrast, and detect flaws such as smudgy lens or subject that has closed eyes. The front-facing camera is still the same 8MP f.1/7 snapper.
Other similarities with the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ is the chipset, an Exynos 9810 octa-core, and the inclusion of stereo speakers. The Galaxy Note9 is also IP68 water resistant, so is the S Pen itself. Of course, the brand is aware the S Pen is probably the biggest reason people buy Galaxy Note phones, so the newest one is a bit more smarter than its predecessors.
This is the first Bluetooth-enabled S Pen and it can act as a remote shutter for the camera. The S Pen has a range of 10 meters and a battery power of about 30 minutes (or 200 clicks). It recharges in only 40 seconds in its holster inside the phone. The S Pen now supports three imputs – short press, long press and double press.
The battery of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 can be topped up at Quick Charge 2.0 (a bit outdated) speeds. The phone also supports Wireless Charging as well. The base model of the phone came with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the improved variant has 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Both storage can be expanded with the use of a microSD card. See the full specifications of the phone below.
