The first Galaxy
M-series for the year 2020 has been announced, it is the Samsung Galaxy M31. The new phone has the same build as last year’s
Galaxy M30 and M30s, though with a far improved camera department and Android
10 with One UI3 out-of-the-box, while retaining its massive 6000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Features
The Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display, just
like the M30 and M30s. The display boasts of a19.5:9 aspect ratio and a
U-shaped waterdrop notch that houses the 16MP selfie camera.
At the back, you will
find a new four camera setup. The main shooter has a large 64MP sensor with
Samsung’s Tetracell pixel binning which effectively outputs 16MP shots. Next up
is the 8MP ultrawide cam while the other two shooters are 5MP macro and depth
sensor. The back also houses the capacitive fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy M31 we have the Exynos
9611 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 storage which can be
expanded further via the microSD card slot.
The Galaxy M31 runs on Samsung One UI 2 on top of Android 10. The
massive 6000mAh battery can charge at up to 15W over the USB-C port. Other
highlights include a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio support and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 price starts at INR 14,999
($208) for the base 4GB/64GB version while the 6GB/128GB variant will go for
INR 15,999 ($222).
