After much of its previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core was officially released yesterday (November 11, 2018),and it did not come with any surprises. It is Samsung’s second Android Go-powered smartphone, and it will probably be a good deal in any market it will be sold.
Samsung Galaxy J4 Core Features
The most notable feature of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core would probably be its display. It is still LCD, but it present itself in a big 6.0 inch diagonal and an HD+(720 x 1480 pixel) resolution. The sad part is that the chipset is still yet to be updated this year, and it is the same Exynos 7570 Quad SoC, with a Quad core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz. We have already seen this chipset in the Galaxy J2 Core. This might be the reason Samsung has not listed the SoC in the spec sheets.
The memory configuration of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core is 1GB or RAM with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
Looking at the camera department of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core, the main shooter is not really fanciful. It is just a regular 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens, while the front accommodates a 5MP camera with the same f/2.2 aperture.
The battery life of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core is expected to be above average, thanks to the 3300mAh cell it came with. This powers up the low-res display and pretty underpowered SoC. As i earlier mentioned, the device runs on the Android Go platform with 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Check out its full specs below.
