The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is for sure Samsung’s first Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone, and was made official just yesterday. The Galaxy J2 Core is already available in India and Malaysia as at yesterday when it was announced, but it will expand to other parts of the world in the nearest future. The first is meant to appease first time smartphone owners, as it was built with an affordable price in mind. Check out its full specification, features and updates about its global price.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Features
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core has a 5 inch qHD screen, and it is powered by a 2600mAh battery which guarantees an all-day use when used moderately. The Go Edition Ultra Data Saving feature will make life easier for users on a low cost data plan. The Galaxy J2 Core features also include LTE connectivity (Cat 4 150Mbps), which we all agree is a must-have these days. It also has a Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) if you decide to connect to a free Wi-Fi and save your data.
From the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core came with an 8MP camera on the rear panel and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. But cameras have f/2.2 aperture, and beauty mode is included for better portraits and selfies.
The operating system of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is slimmed down to use up less memory. The sad part about this phone is that it came with just 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Quite an outdated storage specs..but hey! Like I said from the start, it was designed having new smatphone users in mind and it came with an affordable price tag too. The internal storage can be expanded via the use of a microSD card slot. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7570 chipset – a 14nm part with four 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-T720 MP1.
