Samsung is introducing more 5G smartphone and her latest entry is a new phone called SamsungGalaxy A42 5G. The company made a strange announcement of the phone within the week because they only shared its images and few specs, with a promise to deliver the rest later. Read on, and see the details of the Galaxy A42 5G.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Key Features
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is built around a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED. Though they did not reveal the resolution of the panel in the specs sheet, the Galaxy A41 already has a 1080p screen, therefore anything else will be a surprise. The under-screen fingerprint sensor will definitely be carried over alongside the waterdrop notch for the selfie camera on top.
The Galaxy A42 5G has four cameras at the back, which is more than what the Galaxy A31 came with, but we have no details on their purpose or the exact modules used. The tiny lens on the lower right one clearly indicates that it is a depth sensor though.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G should be the cheapest Samsung’s 5G phone at the moment, though it might be too early to speculate on a specific price tag.
The full details of the Galaxy A42 5G will be revealed closer to its launch date later in the year. The Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A41 arrived in March the last year, but this time around the company is breaking the 12-month cycle.
