Razer phone Features
The Razer phone is simply a representation of massive specs hidden in a simple brand name. In terms of design, the device is top notch with all its sharp corners. The colour presentation is also a beauty to behold. The Razer phone is designed outwardly with an all-aluminum CNC chassis, and has a 24-bit DAC. The device also boasts of a two front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atnos sound, each having its own amp which was certified by THX. This is the first phone having this features. According to the manufacturer, they claimed it is the loudest phone you can find in the market presently. At the side of the device, you will get to see a USB-C to headphone outlet, though it lacks a 3.5mm headset jack.
The Razer phone has a 5.7inch QHD IGZO LCD screen with wide colour gamut and 120Hz refresh rate, which is twice as much as you will get from any smartphone other than the Apple’s iPad Pro line. It is the packing and adaptive refresh technology that syncs the GPU and the display. This is known as UltraMotion, and it was developed in cooperation with Qualcomm to ensure you experience no tearing or lag even at a very high frame rate. The good news about all this, is that it does not even affect the battery life of the Razer phone.
The Razer phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled by a whooping 8GB RAM. I assure you that this features is not something you can easily get from any device. This makes the phone stands out from the crowd..but hey! it was specifically designed for gaming.
The Razer phone has a dual camera setup, which consists of a 12MP main shooter and a 13MP 2X fixed lens zoom, along with a dual-tone LED flash. At the front panel, you will find an 8MP snapper for taking selfies and video chatting. It also have a fingerprint sensor located in the power key on the side of the phone.
The Razer phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box, and there is a possibility of an upgrade to Android Oreo in the nearest future. It also runs on the Nova Launcher Prime Razer edition.
Aside the whooping 8GB RAM, the Razer phone also has a massive 64GB storage (expandable via microUSD) and a mammoth 4000mAh battery. The manufacturer claimed you can watch movies for 12.5 hours, listen to music for 63.5 hours, and play Hearthstone for 7 hours straight with the phone. It has a Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+ support, that makes the battery charges from 0 to 85% in just an hour. The phone measures 158.5 x 77.7 x 8mm, and weighs 197g.
