Oppo will be launching the Reni Ace in no distant time, the phone features 65W fast charging and Snapdragon 855+ chipset. Today, the company revealed that a mid-ranger, Oppo K5 will tag along. According to a Weibo post on the official account of the manufacturer, October 10 will be the launch date of the phone that will have a 64MP shooter and a Snapdragon730G chipset.
The Oppo K5 is already being displayed on Chinese retailers’ websites with the full renders and key specifications. When you look at the phone, you can easily see the similarities between the Realme X2 and Oppo K5. This should not come as a surprise because both brands are sharing much of their manufacturing and R&D.
The Oppo K5 will have 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging that should top up a 4000mAh battery in 67 minutes.
Thanks to the official leak, we also know that the ultrawide angle camera will have an 8MP sensor and 119 degree FoV, while the selfie camera will be 32MP with plenty of AI features. The only thing that is still left unknown is the memory configuration and the price tag, but we are hoping to have the full specs sheet, pricing, and availability in exactly two weeks time.
