The Oppo A52 is on its way to the European markets, and it is definitely not going alone. It will be released alongside the more capable Oppo A72. The prices of both phones in Europe are still not known at the moment, but the Oppo A52 will cost CNY1,600 in China, which is €210 (But you will also have to account for European taxed for sure).
Also, there are no specific details on when and where these two phones will be available, but since they are coming to Germany, let us assume that the whole European countries will get them too.
Difference between the Oppo A72 and Oppo A52
Before we move to the difference between the Oppo A72 and Oppo A52, let us look at the similarities in their hardware. Both the phones have a 6.5-inch screen with 1080p+ resolution. They are also powered by the same Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 4GB RAM. They have quad cameras at the back and a fingerprint reader on the side plus a 3.5mm jack on the bottom. Keeping the phone running for longer hours is a 5000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charge.
Now moving to their differences:
The Oppo A72 has better cameras. Its main shooter is a 48MP sensor, while that of the A52 is 36MP. The A72 also has a 16MP selfie camera, while that of the A52 is just 8MP. The other three cameras at the back are the same as the A52 – an 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Oppo A72 also has double built-in storage – 128GB, but also note that both models have a microSD card slots. Both phones will also run on Android 10 based on ColorOS out-of-the-box.
