Nokia lovers who are disappointed with the Nokia 9 PureView’s camera performance going with the fact that it sports an outdated flagship SoC will be glad to hear that the upcoming Nokia9.1 PureView smartphone will right the wrong of its predecessors. This news is according to the latest Nokiapoweruser’s report on the upcoming second generation flagship.
At first, the Nokia 9.1 PureView was supposed to be launched in the third quarter of 2019, but HMD Global decided to work a little more on the camera capabilities of the phone, this is to avoid the same mistakes it did with the previous generation.
Another familiar sources confirmed that Nokia is working closely with Light for the development and optimization of the camera module and the software. The key selling points of the Nokia 9.1 PureView camera are going to be the excellent nighttime performance and video recording capabilities.
The phone will run on Qualcomm’s latest platform – Snapdragon 855 supporting 5G connectivity. Looking at the design, the Nokia 9.1 PureView will have a cutout for the front camera like the Nokia X71. Also, since the phone will be released in the fourth quarter of 2019,it will run on Android Q out-of-the-box.
