Nokia 7.1 Features
The Nokia 7.1 design is built around a Pure Display notched panel with 1080 x 2280 pixel resolution and a 5.84 inch diagonal. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and it boasts HDR10 support, which is a rear feature in the segment. To add icing to the cake, the display can do real-time HDR conversion to SDR videos.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM, depending on the variant you buy. The internal storage options are 32GB and 64GB, and both can be expanded via a microSD card.

From the camera department, the Nokia 7.1 sports an 8MP f/2.0 selfie cam supporting AI-enhanced Face Unlock. The back camera has a 12MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP black and white camera. The rear cameras boast Zeiss optics and several nifty software features like the “bothie” mode that lets you take stills or record videos using the back and front cameras at the same time.
The Nokia 7.1 has a 3060mAh battery which supports fast charging via the USB-C connector on the bottom of the phone. Nokia claims you can arrive at 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
The Nokia 7.1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and is a part of Android One program. There is a promise of an OS upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie in November, followed by a 2-year-long period of major updates and 3 years on monthly security patches. The available colours are; Gloss Midnight Blue, and Gloss Steel.

Nokia 7.1 Price and Release Date
The phone will be available for pre-order starting from October 5 (which is tomorrow), and the release date/actual shipment will commence from October 28.
The Nokia 7.1 price in the United States for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage is $349, while in Europe you will buy it at a price of €319. The upgraded 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant cost €349 in Europe.
