This week, HMD Global released two Nokia features phones – the Nokia 106 (2018) and Nokia 230. Both phones look quite simple from the outside, but the 106 features so many improvements, while the 230 gets new colours. Read on, and set your eyes on some details about the Nokia 106 (2018) and Nokia 230.
Nokia 106 (2018) and Nokia 230 Features
The Nokia 106 (2018) is a just a revision of the old model, the major addition is the introduction of a second SIM slot. The phone also come with extra memory too, which now increases the contact storage to 2,000 (up from 500) and 500 text messages. The RAM has also been increases to 4MB.
The phones does not come with cameras, as you already know, there is no enough storage for photos and large files. It has a 1.8 inch, 120 x 160 pixel screen, which is not perfect for a view finder. It could be perfect for other multimedia like Snake Xenzia games.
Although, perhaps the best feature of the Nokia 106 (2018) is its polycarbonate body. The material is mixed with paint, so it has the same colour throughout, which makes it a bit difficult to notice scratches. The phone is available in any colour you want, as long as it is dark gray. The second cool feature of the Nokia 106 (2018) is its 800mAh battery, which promises 15 hours of talk time – which is rarely seen in features phones.
The Nokia 230 is not really new, HMD Global is just launching two new colours; Light Gray and Dark Blue. Both the aluminum back and plastic fronts of the phone are painted.
Note: both the Nokia 106 (2018) and Nokia 230 are 2G-only, and then has only dual band.
