I guess you remember the classic Motorola Razr X3 clamshell mobile phone that was introduced in the early 2000’s. Now we have foldable screens, Motorola has reinvented the device and launched the all-new Motorola Razr that has a 6.2 inch foldable panel in the inside.
Motorola Razr Specification
The specification of the Motorola Razr are rather impressive, aside from the inside display. The Razr runs on Snapdragon 710 chipset which is paired with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone have only two cameras; one on the outside of the flip part and another on the inside, housed inside a notch.
The main camera is 16MP coupled with dual-LED flash. The selfie camera is 5MP, and it has no flash. The screen is used to light up the face while in the dark.
The biggest feature of the Motorola Razr is the foldable panel. It is pOLED with a 21:9 ratio and has the marketing name Cinemavision, although the resolution is HD – 2142 x 876 pixels. There is another Quick View screen on the outside of the device with a 2.7” gOLED panel and a resolution of 600 x 800 pixels.
The good thing about the secondary display of this phone is that you can use it without unfolding the clamshell for almost all important features like taking selfies, making calls, turning some basic settings off and on, and to use the Google Assistant.
The Motorola Razr comes with a 2510mAh battery, that charges up in no distant time with the 15W Turbo Power charging. The OS is Android Pie and it comes with all the Google services you need.
Motorola Razr Price
The Motorola Razr will come in just one colour – Noir Black, and it is reported to the media to cost $1,500. Though at the moment, Motorola is yet to confirm the price and announce an actual launch date.
