Motorola has announced its second phone that has a pop-up selfie camera – the Motorola One Fusion+. This method feature avoids the punch hole, which is dominant in recent Motorola One models, even the flagship Edge+ has a punch hole. This leaves the 6.5-inch Total Vision Display unblemished. It is an IPS LCD with 1080p+ resolution and HDR10 support. Read more to see more details about the recently unveiled One Fusion+
Motorola One Fusion+ Features
The highlight of the Motorola One Fusion+ is the 16MP selfie camera, which raises up when it is needed. There is also a fingerprint reader at the back which can be used for biometric authentication. The Motorola One Hyper is a bit similar to this device, but it does have a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.
The One Fusion+ has a 64MP main camera at the back just One Hyper. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor for portraits.
The Motorola One Fusion+ is powered by the Snapdragon 730 chipset that promises CPU and GPU performance upgrade over the Snapdragon 675 used in the One Hyper. The chipset is paired with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded further up to 1TB by microSD cards.
If you opt for storage expansion, then you will have to settle with using just one SIM, as the phone has a hybrid card slot. The good news is that it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an FM radio receiver onboard, how old school. There’s no NFC, though.
The other wired connector is the USB-C port, which supports 15W fast charging for the 5000 mAh battery. For comparison, the Hyper supports 27 W charging in Europe and 45W in the US, but its battery is smaller (4,000mAh).
Motorola One Fusion+ Price and Availability in Europe
The Motorola One Fusion+ price in Europe is €300 and it will be launched in Europe this month of June 2020. There is no official information on the US launch yet. The phone will be available in two colors – Twilight Blue and Midnight White.
