On Monday, Motorola announced a new midrange 5G smartphone – the Motorola One 5G. The new phone is essentially a rebranded Motorola Moto G 5G Plus which is heading to the United Stated market with a unique ring flash. The company has not announced the official price yet, but it promises the phone will cost under $500.
Motorola One 5G Features
The Motorola One 5G features the same specs as the Moto G 5G Plus. It has a total of six cameras, four on the rear, and two at the front. One of the front-facing cameras is a 16MP f/2.0 camera, while the other is an 8MP ultra-wide shooter for taking wide selfies. Moving to the back, the camera setup is made up of a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera.
The main difference between the Motorola One 5G and the Moto G 5G Plus is that the former has a new rung flash around the main camera module. This is in addition to the main dual LED flash that is next to the camera setup. The chipset was not specifically mentioned, but we expect the phone to use the Snapdragon 730G.
The Motorola One 5G has a 6.7-inch Cinema Vision LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio, along with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a massive 5000mAh battery which supports 20W fast charging.
