In the early hours of today, Motorola announced the Moto Z3 in an even that took place in Chcago, United States of America. The phone is actually identical to the Moto Z3 Play, apart from the rear camera setup and the chipset used for it. The Motorola Moto Z3 supports MotoMods, but it will be the last device. So, from next year, we will probably say good bye to the modular system. check out the Motorola Moto Z3 features, specifications, price and release date.
Motorola Moto Z3 Features
The Motorola Moto Z3 is splash resistant, it has the power button on its left side, and the fingerprint scanner located on the right. The phone employs a stock-ish version of Android that has navigation button that reminds us of the one Google added to the Android P beta releases.
The Motorola Moto Z3 came with dual cameras, comprising of a 12MP f/2.0 sensor with 1.25um pixels and a 12MP monochrome sensor, and a dual LED flash. At the front you will find an 8MP shooter for taking selfies with 1.12um pixel size and an 84-degree field-of-view. The Moto Z3 has a 6 inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The chipset of the Motorola Moto Z3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The chipset is a last year’s flagship. Though the 3000mAh battery is not really impressive, but at least we have seen that same capacity in some high-end phones manufactured this year. The Motorola Moto Z3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
