The Meizu Zero was announced within this
week, and is the world’s first phone without a physical button, USB port for
conventional wired charging, and even a speaker output. Amazing you will agree.
Well, to give you more information about the Meizu Zero, read on and see its features and full specification.
The Meizu Zero uses touch capacitive panels on its side, and it serves as a replacement for the conventional power and volume buttons (similar to what you will find in the HTC U12+, only that the buttons does not produce the frame). Looking at the speaker, the Meizu Zero uses a piezoelectric transducer under the display (similar to what you will see in the Xiaomi Mi Mix).
Like you
already know, the Meizu Zero lacks charging
port. So, it is a wireless charging-only phone that makes use of
Meizu-developed 18W charging, making it the fastest phone you can charge
wirelessly. Data transfers are only carried out over Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
Another
funny part is that there is not even a single SIM slot on the Meizu Zero. It uses an eSIM, similar to
what you will get from the new crop of Apple iPhones. The phone has a 5.99
inches AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is
powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset.
Looking at the camera sections, the rear houses a 12MP + 20MP dual camera (consisting of the Sony IMX 380 and IMX 350 AI sensors) while on the front there’s a 20MP selfie camera

The RAM,
storage, and battery capacity of the Meizu
Zero are yet to be made official for now, as well as the availability and
price. The phone will come in Black or White colours.
Button-less
phones are quite new, and Vivo is planning to launch such type of phone very
soon. Meizu beats them to this. 2018 was indeed a remarkable year for
smartphone innovation, such as sliders and pop-up cameras. But it looks like
2019 promises to bring in more excitements and innovations. Check out the Meizu Zero full specification below.
