The Meizu V8 is an entry-level smartphone that will be hitting the market with a 5.7 inch screen. There is also a second flavour – The Meizu V8 Pro. Both phones are already available for pre-order, read on as you get to see their prices and availability as well as features and full specifications.
Both the Meizu V8 and V8 Pro came with a 720 x 1440 pixel screen that promises 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 450 units. Both batteries are also almost the same – 3200mAh for the regular and 3100mAh for the pro version. The real difference can be seen in the build material, memory, chipset, and camera.
The Meizu V8 Pro is made of metal, and it sports a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset (octa core A53 CPU) paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. At the rear, you will find a 12MP + 5Mp camera setup (with f/2.2 apertures and bokeh mode). The selfie camera is a 5MP f/1.9 shooter with Face Unlock.
The Meizu V8 on the other hand, has a polycarbonate body, and a MediaTek MT6739 chipset (quad core A53 CPU) paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Its main camera is a 13MP sensor and f/2.2 lens, while the selfie camera is the same 5MP f/1.9 module. The selfie camera offers same face unlock functionality too. You can as well make use of the fingerprint reader that is on the back of both phones.

The Meizu V8 price goes for CNY800 in China, $115 in the United States of America, and €100 in Europe. The V8 Pro price goes for CNY1,100 in China, $160 in the United States of America, and €140 in Europe.
Both phones will be shipped out on September 26, 2018 and made available on Meizu.com, as well as Tmall, Suning, and JD.
