Lenovo Z5 Specifications, Price, Features and Release Date

The Lenovo Z5 was recently announced in China, and this post reveal its full specifications and features which you might not have known. Though the phone does not meet the expectations of a true bezel-less experience, it has a notch on the top, and a chin at the bottom of the screen. Lenovo Z5 Features

The Lenovo Z5 came with a Snapdragon 636 chipset, which has eight Kryo 260 cores, clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with an Adreno 509 GPU. The RAM option is just 6GB, while the internal storage gives you a choice between 64GB and 128GB. It has a 6.2 inch screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

Looking the camera department, the Lenovo Z5 has a dual camera setup made up of 16MP + 8MP with AI (Artificial Intelligence) capabilities. The selfie camera has an 8MP sensor that has AI too, bringing machine learning of the face shape.

The battery capacity of the Lenovo Z5 is 3300mAh, and it supports fast charging through a USB-C port. Just as the manufacturer promised earlier, the new phone has ZUI 4.0, the very same interface that was previously seen in the ZUK smartphones. The phone runs based on Android 8.0 Oreo, but the Lenovo Vice President, Chang Cheng, promised a future update to Android P once the operating system is out. ZUK owners should all have smile on their faces because the promise was also made for the Z2, Z3 Pro and Edge phones.

Lenovo Z5 Release Date

The Lenovo Z5 domestic launch is slated for June 12, 2018. The release date in the global market will come up shortly after that, though there are no specific dates indicated yet.

Lenovo Z5 Price

The Lenovo Z5 price differs in terms of its two memory variants. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version is prices at CNY1.299, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will cost CNY1,799.

The Lenovo Z5 price the United States of America are $202 and $280 for both variants, while in Europe the prices goes for €173 and €240.
