The Infinix Zero 8 was announced in Nigeria and Indonesia today, and it is the latest member of its lineup coming from the Shenzhen-based phone manufacturer. The phone is tagged Speed Monster Vision Maker #SpeedMonsterVisionMaker as you can see from the image below where the iconic, Infinix brand ambassador inNIgeria, Davido, poses with the new smartphone.

Infinix Zero 8 Features
The Infinix Zero 8 is the first phone coming from the brand to have a 90Hz refresh rate display, a unique rhombus-shaped quad camera with a 64MP primary camera, and a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.

At the front of the Zero 8, you will find a 6.85-inch IPS LCD with a pill-shaped cutout for the dual 48MP and 8MP selfie cameras. The 90Hz refresh rate is accompanied by 180Hz touch sampling.
Moving to the back, you will find the previously mentioned 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with 4K video recording and EIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP shooters for low light videos and depth data. The Helio G90T chipset is paired with an 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The storage is expandable via microSD.

The Infinix Zero 8 boots on Android 10 with Infinix XOS 7 on top. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery which has support for 33W SuperCharge. Other notable features of the Zero 8 include a headphone jack, FM radio receiver, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Infinix Zero 8 Price and Availability
The Infinix Zero 8 price in Indonesia is IDR 3,799,000 ($250), though a limited-time promo reduced it to IDR 3,099,000 ($211). The phone will go on sale in Indonesia from August 31, 2020.
The Infinix Zero 8 price in Nigeria is yet to be made official since the phone has not arrived in the country yet as at the time this post was written. But looking at the cost in USD, you can easily estimate the price in Nigerian Naira. We are expecting the phone to arrive in Nigeria and other major markets in the world starting from September 2020.
