The Hong Kong-based tech giant, Infinix, announced its latest entry-level phone today – the Infinix Hot 8. Countries that are most likely to get this Hot 8 first are India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and some other African countries. It is a budget smartphone that actually comes with some interesting specs considering its initial starting price of $97. Infinix Hot 8 Features
The Infinix Hot 8 comes with 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display, having a waterdrop notch and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has an 8MP selfie camera housed in the notch and the bezels are quite slim too.
At the back, you will find a vertical triple camera setup made up of a 13MP main shooter, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP low-light sensor. You will also find a fingerprint reader and LED flash on the rear panel.
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 8 packs a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded further via a microSD card slot. The Hot 8. also packs a massive 5000mAh battery which charges over micro USB. On the software front, the Hot 8 runs on Infinix XOS 5.0 on top of Android Pie.
Infinix Hot 8 Price and Availability
The Infinix Hot 8 will go on sale in India starting from September 12 through Flipkart and the price will start at INR6,999 ($97) until October 30. After that, the price will increase to INR7,999 ($111). The phone will be available in three colors; Cosmic Purple, Midnight Black, and Quetzal Cyan.
