During an interview with a French magazine, Huawei’s CEO and founder, Ren Zhengfei revealed that the homegrown HongMeng OS will be faster than Android and will have a broader application as well. He stated that the OS can be used not only on smartphones, but on routers, tablets, network switches, computers, and even data centers.
Morepver, he also stated that HongMeng OS would be even faster than Apple’s Mac OS by basting less than 5ms processing delay. With the fact that it can be used on variety of devices, it does reminds us of Google’s Fuchsia OS.

Zhengfei also said that despire the United States’ softened ban on Huawei, the Chinese tech giant has not given up on HongMeng’s development.
