Huawei nova 6 Trio Smartphones Has Been Announced

After several months of teasers and leaks, Huawei finally unveiled three new nova 6 lineup. The start among the trio is the nova 6 5G, which comes with an oval punch hole display alongside the flagship Kirin 990 chipset and a triple camera setup.

You also have the standard nova 6 which comes in an identical design but lacks the 5G connectivity and also has a slightly smaller battery. The third among the lineup is the midrange nova 6 SE, which sports a quad camera setup, Kirin 810 chipset and a generous 4200mAh battery.

Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G Features

Both the Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G packs a 6.57 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an oval punch hole in the top left hand corner. The cutout houses the dual camera setup which is made up of a 32MP main shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide secondary sensor which brings a 100-degree field of view.

At the right hand side, you will find the fingerprint scanner which also serves as the power button. Looking at the back, you will find a triple camera setup which is made up of a 40MP main camera alongside an 8MP telephoto module with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Under the hood of the nova 6, we have the flagship Kirin 990 chipset which is paired with the Balong 5000 5G modem on the nova 6 5G. both phones comes with 8GB RAM whole the storage ranges between 128GB and 256GB.

On the software front, the nova 6 runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top. The phone is powered by a 4100mAh battery while the 5G version gets a boost to 4200mAh. Both phones has 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.

Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G Price and Availability

The nova 6 5G will go for CNY 3,799 ($540) for its 8GB/128GB configuration while the 8GB/256GB one will set buyers back CNY 4,199 ($595). The standard nova 6 start at CNY 3,199 ($454) for the 8GB/128GB trim. Pre-orders are already ongoing while official sales are scheduled to begin on December 12, 2019.

Huawei nova 6 SE

The nova 6 SE is a midrange device. At the front, you will get a 6.4 inch FHD+ LCD panel with a punch hole cut out for its single 16MP selfie camera. Just like the first two nova 6 models, the nova 6 SE also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

At the back of the nova 6 SE, you will find a quad-camera setup which is made up of a 48MP main unit, 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP modules (depth and macro). Under the hood, we have the Kirin 810 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It comes with a 4200mAh battery, while maintaining the 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.

Huawei nova 6 SE Price and Availability

The nova 6 SE price is CNY 2,199 ($315) with pre-orders already ongoing. Official sales is scheduled for December 12, 2019.
