The Honor 20
has finally being officially released into the global market after a couple of
months of uncertainty. It appears that the phone is heading to the Malaysian
market too but under a different name. In Malaysia, the phone is called the Huawei nova 5T.
Huawei nova 5T Features
The Huawei nova 5T features some familiar
hardware – 6.26 inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole camera design and 1080 x
2340 pixel resolution. The nova 5T is also powered by a Kirin 980 chipset
paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The Huawei nova 5T camera setup is the same
as that on the Honor 20 – 48MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor, 2MP dedicated
macro lens and a 16MP ultra-wide angle snapper. Interestingly, the battery is
3700mAh instead of 3750mAh. It also retains the side-mounted fingerprint reader
too.
Huawei nova 5T Price and Availability
The Huawei nova 5T price is $379 and it
will be available for pre-order starting from August 29, 2019, while actual
sales will commence on September 5. It will come in three colours – Crush Blue,
Black, and Summer Purple.
