Huawei made a massive announcement yesterday in China, as they unveiled plenty of devices. The highlight of the event was three nova 5 smartphones. They are the Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, and Nova 5i. We shall be looking at each of their individual features, specification and price.

Huawei Nova 5 Pro Features

The Huawei Nova 5 Pro is definitely the start among the trio. The phone has an OLED panel, fancy colours, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The display is 6.39 inch in diagonal and comes with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 32MP front-facing camera. There are 4 cameras in the rar – a 49MP main shooter, 16MP wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera.

Huawei Nova 5 Pro Price and Release Date

The Nova 5 Pro come with the flagship Kirin 980 chipset paired with an 8GB RAM, while internal storage is either 128GB or 256GB. The phone is equipped with a 40W Huawei SuperCharge, which tops up its 4000mAh battery. The Nova 5 Pro price starts at CNY2,999 ($435 or €385) for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/256GB costs CNY3,399 ($500 or €440).

There is a fancier version called Huawei Nova 5 Pro Limited Edition which costs CNY3,799 ($550 or €490),and it comes with special purple FreeLace earphones in the retail box. Pre-orders for the nova 5 Pro are already available at Vmall.com, with shipping scheduled for June 28^th 2019.

Huawei Nova 5

The Huawei Nova 5 is the first Huawei phone to arrive with the brand’s new Kirin 810 chipset. In fact, its launch is scheduled for mid-July as manufacturing it requires more time. The chipset has two Cortex-A76 powerful cores running at 2.27GHz, six efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.88GHz and a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU.

Apart from this, the Nova 5 is identical with the Nova 5 Pro – you will get the same notched OLED at the front and an identical quad camera at the back. The Nova 5 has only one memory option – 8GB/128GB and it will cost CNY2,999 ($435 or €385).

Huawei Nova 5i

The Huawei Nova 5i comes with a deceitful and less exiting chipset when compared to the other two – Kirin 710 chipset. Though the phone stands out with its punch hole camera.

The Huawei Nova 5i has a fingerprint scanner and four cameras at its rear. The cameras are made up of a 24MP main, 8MP wide-angle + 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. The available memory options of the Nova 5i are; 6GB/128GB or 8GB/128GB.

The Huawei Nova 5i also has a 4000mAh battery, but unlike the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro, it supports the standard 18W fast-charging that Huawei has been implementing in midrange devices in the past few years.

Huawei Nova 5i Price and Availability

The Huawei Nova 5i Price is CNY1,999 ($290 or €260) or CNY2,199 ($320 or €280), depending on the memory you select. Shipping will begin in exactly seven days from the announcement date, which should be Friday 28^th June 2019. The phone will be available in three colours – Sea Blue, Black, and Amber Red.
