Huawei is still working on the Mate 30 series, despite the uncertainty surrounding the Trump administration’s ban of United States companies providing it with siftware abd hardware. It is pretty clear that the Mate 20 will have a 5G version, since 5G is the current trend in the smartphone world.

Huawei Mate 30 5G Launch Date
The Huawei Mate 30 5G will be launched in December according to an information shared by the company officials at a 5G conference in Russia. This could also be a good indicator of when we can expect the entire Mate 30 family to show up in markets worldwide.
Huawei Mate X Launch Date
The Huawei Mate X on the other hand should be launched in September. By this time, Samsung may have already announced yet another foldable device, and hopefully also released the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
The Mate X was supposed to be announced sooner, but Huawei wanted to ensure it wouldn’t go through the same embarrassing launch as Samsung with the Galaxy Fold, so it’s taking its sweet time ensuring that its first foldable smartphone is perfect out of the gate.
The first Huawei 5G smartphone that hits the market is thus the Mate 20 X (5G), already launched in some places and coming to Russia before the end of June.
