Huawei launched the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro yesterday. The Pro model brought a new innovation in both camera and charging technologies, but the regular Mate 20 enjoys the power of Android’s first 7nm chipset and a revamped Leica camera. This post reveals the Huawei Mate 20 Pro full specification, features, and price.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro Features
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro excels above its sibling, as it came with a more advanced camera. The phone have a 6.36 curved OLED display with 1440 pixel resolution and HDR support. The triple camera the Mate 20 Pro came with is descendant from the Huawei P20 Pro camera It combines a 40MP Quad Bayer sensor with f/1.8 wide-angle lens, a 20MP sensor with f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP 80mm f/2.2 telephoto camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro can perform macro shots from just 2.5cm/1in. Video gets a helping hand from AI Cinema Mode, which can adjust the colour tint, saturation and brightness of a clip to enhance the mood. Selective desaturation can render people in full colour upon a black & white background.

When we are talking about AI, the Huawei’s new chipset is powerful enough to bypass the cloud. For example, it can detect similar videos and extract sections of them to make a 10-second highlights reel. At the front of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, you will find a 24MP selfie camera (f/2.0), and a 3D face scanner. To add to that, there is an in-display fingerprint reader that is also pressure sensitive.
The Mate 20 Pro is the first Huawei smartphone to feature the new Super Charge technology. It pushes a whooping 40W of power and can fill 70% of the 4200mAh battery in just 30 minutes.
There is also a 15W Wireless Quick Charge, which takes the battery form 0% to 30% in just 30 minutes. The phone’s battery juice can also be shared with other devices through Wireless Reverse Charging. Take a look at its full specification below.
