In the present phone market where flagships are easily selling for $1,000, you might wonder if there are still affordable phones on the market. Well, Huawei has broken the stigma with its latest, the Huawei Honor Play 3e which costs just roughly $100.

The Huawei Honor Play 3e comes with MT6762R chipset by MediaTek, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is also a variant which has 3GB RAM and 64GB storage which is slightly more expensive. At the back, you will find a single 13MP camera and a neat design.

On the front, you will find an LCD panel that is 5.71 inch in diagonal and has an HD+ resolution. The selfie camera is housed in a notch and has a basic 5MP sensor and f/2.2 aperture. The phone comes with a 3020mAh battery, while the software is EMUI 9.1 based on Android Pie.
The Huawei Honor Play 3e is available for pre-order for CNY699 ($100/€90) or CNY899 ($125/€115) for the higher storage variant. It is available in three colours – Platinum Gold, Magic Night Black, and Aurora Blue.
