We all know it has been
a while since HTC announced a new phone, but decided to call the long break
off. The company recently unveiled a new smartphone – the HTC Wildfire R70, and it is an entry-level device for Thailand and
India. The phone will hit the market very soon, though there are no words
concerning the pricing yet.
HTC Wildfire R70 Features
The key feature of the HTC Wildfire R70 is its 16MP main
camera at the back with a large 1.4µm pixels and bright f/1.75 aperture. It and
the 8MP front-facing camera can record 1080p video.
You will also find two
additional cameras at the back, but they are hardly good for anything much.
They are a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects. You will also
find a fingerprint reader at the back panel.
The HTC Wildfire R70 comes with a 6.53 inch LCD with 720p+ resolution
(19.5:9 aspect ratio). The selfie camera is located in a teardrop notch on top.
The Wildfire R70 is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 chipset, which is
paired with a 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie, and has an internal
storage capacity of 32GB. The internal storage can be expanded further up to
256GB via a microSD catd slot.
The 4000mAh battery it
came with can be charged via a microUSB port. Additional connectivity includes
dual SIM slot with LTE support, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 3.5mm
The HTC Wildfire R70 will come in Aurora Blue and Night Black. Again, its price
