The Honor X10 5G is the first 5G smartphone coming from Honor’s X series, and it was officially announced today. This post contains all the information you need to know as regards its full specification, price, and release date.
Honor X10 5G Features
The Honor X10 5G is powered by the Kirin 820 chipset – the same that powered the Honor 30S. The new phone supports dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) as well as nine 5G frequency bands for an extensive range of coverage.
The Honor X10 5G runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1.1 on top, and it comes in three memory options – 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. The storage can also be expanded further via a microSD card slot by up to 256GB.
The X10 5G is built around a 6.63-inch full HD+ notchless IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
The Honor X10 5G has a total of four cameras – a 16MP front-facing camera mounted on a pop-up mechanism, and a triple camera setup on the back. The rear cameras setup is made up of a 40MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro units.
The 40MP main camera packs an RYYB sensor for better light sensitivity and in turn low-light photography. The smartphone also comes with AIS Super Night Mode, 3D Portrait Lighting Effect, and 960fps Slow Motion Video Recording.
Other key features if the Honor X10 5G includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, GPU Turbo and Kirin Gaming+ 2.0, which uses AI frequency modulation to achieve a balance between gaming performance and power consumption.
Fueling this entire smartphone is a 4300mAh battery which charges at up to 22.5W.
Honor X10 5G Price and Availability
The Honor X10 5G price is CNY1,899 ($270/€245) for the 6GB/64GB model, CNY2,199 ($312/€284) for the 6GB/128GB version, and CNY2,399 ($340/€310) for the highest model made up of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The phone is already up for pre-orders in China and sales will begin on May 26, 2020. Availability in other countries is currently unknown.
