The Apple iPhone X was also introduced during the launch of the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and apart of it being a beauty to behold, it is for sure everyone’s smartphone’s dream. The history of the Apple iPhone can be traced as far back as ten years ago, so the introduction of the iPhone X, pronounced “Ten” is just a manifestation of what a decade of iPhone innovation looks like. Read on, as I introduce to you the Apple iPhone X Specifications, features, price, and release date.

Apple iPhone X Features and Design
Design
Just like the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the Apple iPhone X also come with a brand new design, neglecting bezels and opting for a glass front and back. The brand claimed that there is a deeper strengthening layer in the glass that makes it the most durable smartphone. Thanks to the new design, the Apple iPhone X is also water and dust-resistant. It is made from surgical-grade, stainless steel and comes in two finishes; Silver and Space Gray.
Display
With respect to the current trend in smartphones, the brand did not use bezels on the Apple iPhone X, as it offers an edge-to-edge 5.8inch display. In fact, Apple is upgrading gradually in that department, offering an OLED display for the very first time, which they call the Super Retina Display. The display brings all the benefits of OLED, which includes more accurate colors, and a better image uniformly across the skin. The Apple iPhone X Super Retina Display has a 2046 x 1125 resolution, with 455 PPI, and HDR in both Dolby Vision and HDR.
Apple is actually paying $ 125 per panel, which is one of the reasons why the iPhone X is more expensive.
FaceID
The Apple iPhone X is also the first iPhone that will not have a home button, with the new screen covering the entire front of the device. Users of this device can easily wake up their iPhone by picking it up or swiping across any part of the screen. To can an app, you can simply swipe up on the screen and throw it away. Reaching “Siri” is also very easy, as a user can simply say “Hey Siri” or by pressing the home button.
We already know how the home button is used as the iPhone’s security, the replacement in the Apple iPhone X comes in the form of a depth-sensing front camera that unlocks the phone by detecting the user’s face. Apple calls it “FaceID”.
This actually means that the iPhone X will recognize how your face looks from all angles and can unlock the phone. It also means that features cannot be tricked, such as trying to unlock it with a two-dimensional photo of you instead of your real face. Apple claimed that the chances of someone tricking the FaceID and breaking into your iPhone are one in a million.
The FaceID feature is enabled by a True Depth camera system, equipped with an infrared camera, flood illuminator, dot projector, and more all packed into the Apple iPhone X.
The FaceID feature is used for Apple Pay now, and there is also a new feature called Animojis for messaging. The Animojis use FaceID to emphasize your facial expressions into emojis, which gives them your own unique feeling.
Cameras
From the camera angle, the iPhone X features is locked and loaded. The rear camera features a 12MP sensor, with dual lenses and f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures (which is brighter than the iPhone 7 Plus telephoto). It also comes with a dual-image OIS quad-LED True Tone flash. The front camera is powered by a True Depth camera system that supports FaceID.
Apple iPhone X Specifications
The Apple iPhone X alongside the other ones announced, has wireless charging capabilities, thanks to the new glass back. Wireless charging is supported by Qi, which is considered the standard in the wireless charging industry.
Another good news is that the battery life is two hours longer than the iPhone 7, as a result of improvements in software enhancements. As Apple is known for taking things to the next level, the wireless charging on the new iPhones is coming together with a new accessory called AirPower. The AirPower is a larger mat that allows users to charge their iPhones, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at the same time.
The Apple iPhone X is packed with a new A11 Bionic processor, 64-bit design, six cores, two high-performance processors that are 25 percent faster than the A10, and four high-efficiency cores (two more than the A10) that are 70 percent faster. The GPU is 30 percent faster.
