Apple has started selling the AirPods Pro in India, and it is priced at INR24,900 ($345). Apple had previously announced India as one of the markets where the headphones will be sold but had not revealed the exact launch date. However, as of today, the Apple AirPods Pro can be purchased through authorized offline retailers in India.
The Apple AirPods Pro is the company’s newest wireless Bluetooth earbuds. There is an improvement on the original model with the addition of an ear design, active noise cancellation, sweat resistance, and according to the reviews, better sound quality. The standard AirPods will continue selling alongside the new model.
Unfortunately for Indians, Apple products continue to come at a premium over their already high prices in the United States. At INR 24,900, the AirPods Pro costs almost $100 more than the $249 price in the US. It’s also unlikely that they will be discounted any time soon if the previous AirPods are any indication.
Fortunately for Apple, however, the original AirPods were a grand success and it’s likely many users will fork out the extra cash for the new models as well
