The Alcatel 5 and 3V are two phones from the brand that was displayed on Amazon France last month, which gave a clue of an upcoming launch. Today, Alcatel USA confirmed that the two phones will be arriving alongside a third smartphone, the Alcatel 1X. All the three smatphones will be announced on February 24 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.
Though the company did not say much about the upcoming devices, but the image is revealing enough. Previously leaked images suggested that the Alcatel 5 will have no bezels on the sides, a tiny one on the bottom, and a regular forehead which makes it looks like it will be coming with a dual camera setup.
The Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X are expected to make spot lights in the low-midrange and ultra-affordable markets. They both feature a standard design with tall 18:9 displays and lacks home buttons on the front. The 3V features the volume control on the left side and the power key on the right, while the 1X will have both buttons on the right side.
The full specifications of the three upcoming phones from Alcatel are yet unknown for now, but be rest assured to get full report from MWC 2018 as soon as the devices are announced.
