The 2020 models from Samsung’s Galaxy A-series is heading their way to the United States – the first models will be available tomorrow, April 10, 2020, with more options (including a couple of 5G-connected phones) scheduled to arrive in the summer.
The lineup includes two brand new devices, including the 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy A71. However, let me show you the twp phones that will be available in the United States starting from tomorrow.
Samsung Galaxy A51
The Samsung Galaxy A51 will be the first in this list. The Galaxy A51 price in the United states is $400 for the 4GB/128GB version.
Samsung Galaxy AD1
The Samsung Galaxy AD1 is the other phone launching on April 9, 2020, and it will cost just $110. You should know that this is a full Android phone rather than a Go Edition device.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G was only a rumour until today, but it has just climbed to the top of this year’s A-series. The phone is the same as the Samsung Galaxy A71, featuring a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with 1080p+ resolution and 32MP punbh hole selfie camera.
The quad camera on the back is built around a 64MP module, which is joined by a 12MP ultra wide cam and 5MP macro cam plus a 5MP depth sensor. The battery has 4500mAh capacity and can be charged at 25W. Samsung is mum on what chipset powers this phone (the 4G version had the Snapdragon 730, so it’s probably the S765G).
Samsung Galaxy A21
This is the Samsung Galaxy A21’s first official appearance. The phone cost just $250 and features a 6.5 inch display with 720p+ resolution. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charge. The Galaxy A21 will come with 3G of RAM and 32Gb storage, plus a microSd card slot for storage expansion.
The Galaxy A21 has quad cameras on the back which is made up of 16MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro cameras plus a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 13MP sensor housed in a punch hole just like the premium models.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G
A few more A-series models will join these ones in this summer. This includes the 5G version of Galaxy A51. The major difference apart from the connectivity is the chipset – Exynos 980. The Galaxy A51 5G will cost $100 more that its LTE version.
Samsung Galaxy A11
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy A11 is a more affordable version of the Galaxy A21, and it will cost just $180. It has the same 4000mAh battery with 15W charging support, but the camera setup at the rear scales back the resolution.
